Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Anatoly Ballo Participates in the Ceremony to Launch the Orsk Refrigerator Factory’s Assembly Shop Main Assembly Belt Line in the city of Orsk
Vnesheconombank Deputy Chairman Anatoly Ballo participated in the ceremony to launch the Orsk Refrigerator Factory’s assembly shop main assembly belt line in the city of Orsk.
In attendance in the ceremony were Orenburg region Governor Alexey Chernyshev and members of Russian and Italian delegations.
Since 2005, projects aimed at building new modern innovative production facilities to manufacture domestic fridges, high-pressure plates and vessels with the use of Italian, Japanese and German companies’ know-how have been carried out at the Orsk Factory Complex with the assistance of Vnesheconombank. The Orsk Factory Complex incorporates the Orsk Refrigerator Factory, the Orsk Compressor Factory and the Mechanical Plant.
Besides, one of the main components of the Orsk industrial center is a joint venture to manufacture domestic appliances, that is, the Domestic Appliances Factory in the city of Orsk. This joint venture was established by Litintern Consult and Merloni Projetti.
Vnesheconombank was responsible for raising funds to finance an entire range of projects at the Orsk Factory Complex using its own funds as well as foreign banks’ credits against export insurance agencies’ insurance coverage.
Implementation of such projects is highly instrumental in developing the Orenburg region and has a positive impact on the socio-economic situation in the region and help Russian leading industrial companies and regions to attain leading world positions, reduce the Russian economy’s dependence on imports and increase the export of Russian high-technology and deeply processed products.
