S&P Affirms VEB’s and RDB’s Ratings by Changing Outlook from “Stable” to “Positive”

London. March 12. INTERFAX-AFI – International Ratings Agency Standard & Poor’s has affirmed ratings of State Corporation “Bank for Development and Foreign Economic aAffairs (Vnesheconombank)’ (VEB) as well as of the Russian Development Bank (RDB) by changing their outlook from “stable” to “positive”, the Agency’s press release said.

On Tuesday, Standard & Poor’s affirmed sovereign ratings of the Russian Federation for debt obligations in foreign and national currency: long-term ratings – at “BBB+/A-“, short-term ratings – at “A-2” by changing outlook for long-term ratings from “stable” to “positive”, given the growth in the country’s international reserves.

100% of RDB’s shares have been contributed to VEB’s charter capital.
