On a Meeting between Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and the State Development Bank of China Board Chairman Chen Yuan

On October 29, 2009, Chairman of State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ Vladimir Dmitriev conducted a working meeting with Board Chairman of the State Development Bank of China Chen Yuan.

In the course of the meeting they discussed a wide range of issues including bilateral cooperation in raising funds for joint co-financing of investment projects.

The parties stated that specialized state-run financial institutions played an important role in promoting new promising lines of Russian-Chinese economic cooperation.

The State Development Bank of China is one of the largest China’s financial institutions, a key partner of Vnesheconombank and an important source of investments in the economy of the Russian Federation.

The State Development Bank of China is Vnesheconombank’s partner in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Interbank Consortium.
