On October 29, 2009, Vnesheconombank and RUSAL signed an annex to the credit agreement on rolling over the credit extended to the company on October 2008 subject to Federal Law № 173 “ On Additional Measures for Supporting the Financial System of the Russian Federation”.
Under Vnesheconombank Supervisory Board’s decision dated October 8, 2009, RUSAL’s credit is to be rolled over until October 29, 2010.
The company’s current debt to Vnesheconombank is 4.5 billion US dollars.
