An Educational Project “Training of Specialists-Participants in Investment Projects Implemented with the Assistance of Development Institutions” and developed with the participation of Vnesheconombank’s specialists has got off to a start at the Russian Academy of Civil Service under the President of the Russian Federation.
The first training session in the format of a weekly refresher course took place in mid-December of 2009 at the Russian Academy of Civil Service. Representatives of Moscow’s and regional business entities, line ministries of the Khabarovsk region and the Republic of Buryatia participated in this training session. Lead experts of the Russian Academy of Civil Service, the Russian Academy of Sciences, heads of Vnesheconombank’ structural divisions and independent experts gave a course of lectures and practical classes. After completing the refresher course and undergoing tests, course participants were awarded certificates by the Russian Academy of Civil Service. In accordance with the concept of the Educational Project a certificate is to become a sort of ‘quality guarantee’ of personnel employed by institutions participating in the investment process.
In 2010, a series of training sessions in the format of a weekly refresher course are scheduled to be conducted with the participation of lead specialists from Moscow’s universities. Two other formats, namely, a two-week refresher course and a master class are also scheduled to be put to an evaluation test.
Vnesheconombank is one of the initiators of the Education Project and it is responsible for providing expert support in the course of training thus helping to boost professionalism of participants in the investment process.
