Acting Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein and VEB.RF Chairman Igor Shuvalov Discuss Regional Restoration and Development Plans

VEB.RF has hosted a meeting between Acting Kursk Region Governor Alexander Khinshtein and VEB.RF Chairman Igor Shuvalov. They discussed issues relating to the region’s development, including restoring damaged border areas, implementing joint projects, such as the construction of a new school on Plevitskaya Avenue in Kursk, preparing a master plan for the development of Kursk and its historic sites, and celebrating 1,000 years of the city’s history.

Alexander Khinshtein, Acting Governor of the Kursk Region: “We view the partnership with VEB.RF as highly significant strategically. This concerns plans to begin housing development on a massive scale, restore border areas, transform the historic centre of Kursk, as well as working together on other potential projects.”

Igor Shuvalov, Chairman, VEB.RF: “We at VEB.RF realise our responsibility towards the residents of the Kursk Region. We will do our utmost, using all of the Group’s financial and non-financial mechanisms to support the region.”
