VEB.RF to Finance Construction of Biriuzovaya Katun Hotel Complex in Altai

VEB.RF will finance a project to build a year-round multifunctional four-star, 135-bedroom hotel complex located in the Biriuzovaya Katun special economic zone in the Altai Territory. The project is aimed at developing the recreation space. The hotel complex is planned to be operational in 2027.

According to the loan agreement entered into by and between VEB.RF and Uklad Katun Resort, VEB.RF’s commitment is RUB1.97bn. The total project value is RUB2.5bn.

Managing Director of VEB.RF Asset Management Timur Temirgaliev: “Biriuzovaya Katun is a unique place in Russia. The project will create new jobs and increase the tourist flow to the Altai Territory.”

VEB.RF’s portfolio has 28 tourism infrastructure projects at different stages of implementation (financed, signed, approved or under consideration). The total project value is RUB486.4bn, with VEB.RF’s commitment totalling RUB245.8bn.
