Vnesheconombank the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and OJSC ESK RusHydro Agree to Create a Technopark

In the course of the 8^th Krasnoyarsk Economic Forum State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’, the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan and OJSC ESK RusHydro entered into a Memorandum on cooperation and interaction in implementing a project to create a technopark on the territory of Bashkortostan in order to set up production of innovation equipment.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Memorandum was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev, on behalf of Bashkortostan’s Government – by President Rustam Khamitov, on behalf of OJSC ESK RusHydro - by RusHydro Board Chairman Evgeny Dod.

This Memorandum was signed in order to promote all-round cooperation as part of creating a technopark on the territory of Bashkortostan to set up production of innovation hydroelectric power equipment.

Under the Memorandum the parties intend to analyze and develop organizational, technological and financial schemes for implementing the project as well as to comprehensively assess project risks, make arrangements for financing the project in the case that the Memorandum is in line with Vnesheconombank’s financial policy.

The parties expressed confidence that the implementation of investment projects as part of this Memorandum would help to boost energy security and remove infrastructure restrictions of Russian regions’ economic development.
