VEB has announced the establishment of a Research and Expert Review Institute. The organization will be headed by Yulia Zvorykina. It will mainly focus on macroeconomic analysis of Russia’s social and economic development and VEB Group’s impacts and evaluation of projects having significant strategic and macroeconomic effects that contribute to the implementation of public sustainability programmes, strategies and principles.
“We have created an institute whose remit is to conduct expert review and research. The new organization will consider both Vnesheconombank’s projects and projects that are not in Vnesheconombank’s portfolio, but of significance for Russian economy,” said Andrey Klepach, Deputy Chairman of Vnesheconombank (Chief Economist), who heads the Supervisory Board of the newly established organization.
Vnesheconombank’s Research and Expert Review Institute is established as an autonomous nonprofit organization within the VEB structure.
