Vnesheconombank to help build a new aviation component plant in the Vladimir region

Financed by Vnesheconombank, the Branch of NAUKA, a Russian major research and production association, in Pershino, Vladimir Region, Kirzhach District, has launched the construction of a new plant for the production of aviation components.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Vladimir Region government officials, representatives of Vnesheconombank and NAUKA top managers.


“Financing of high-technology projects, in particular, production of components and systems for the aviation industry is seen by Vnesheconombank as its key priority. Designed to preserve and develop the unique competence in building critically important aviation components, this project of our partner, NAUKA association, is exactly the case. Actually, few companies across the globe have this level of competence. Moreover, our client is an exemplary borrower, as it carries out its obligations duly and timely,” pointed out Vnesheconombank’s First Deputy Chairman and Member of the Management Board Dmitry Kurdyukov.

The project’s goal is to enable the construction of modern state-of-the-art facilities that are to produce automatic pressure control systems, integrated air conditioning systems and other systems for aeronautical and space equipment. Furthermore, NAUKA will, as part of the project, expand and revamp its existing production facilities, and build the new ones.

The project value totals RUB 2.2 billion, with Vnesheconombank’s approved commitment at RUB 1 billion.

The project will help increase economic efficiency by cutting operating costs dramatically and enhance competitive edge of the business. Over the years, NAUKA has remained the leader in the Russian aviation and space industry and the major national manufacturer of vital systems for aircraft, helicopters and manned spacecraft.

The estimated social wellbeing and economic effects to be achieved due to this Vladimir Region project include about RUB 1.9 billion of taxes, other payments to the budgets at various levels, and over 350 new jobs.
