VEB Closes a Bid Book for Participation in the Placement of PBO-001R-08 Series Exchange-Traded Bonds

On June 14, 2017 Vnesheconombank successfully closed a bid book for the issue of the Bank’s series PBO-001R-08 exchange-traded bonds. Investors were offered U.S. dollar-denominated bonds with settlements in Russian rubles maturing in 5.5 years.

The volume of the issue placed under the Exchange-Traded Bonds Program amounts to $US550,000,000.

The bid book for participation in the placement of bonds was opened on June 14, 2017 with the coupon rate initially ranging from 4.25 – 4.50% per annum. The semiannual coupon rate was determined at the lower limit of the marketized range and amounted to 4.25% per annum.

This foreign currency bonds’ issue with settlements in Russian rubles has already become the second similar instrument of Vnesheconombank traded at the Moscow Stock Exchange. In 2016, Vnesheconombank placed similar issue of PBO-001R-03 series.

The bonds will be placed through an open subscription on June 22, 2017 at the Moscow Stock Exchange.

Depository for the issue is National Settlement Depository (NSD).

Bonds issue is arranged by GPB Bank (JSC).
