A wood-processing complex constructed with Vnesheconombank's support has been put into operation in Boguchansky District, Krasnoyarsk Territory. The Bank’s approved commitment amounts to RUB 17.7 bn.

Shortly after the opening, the new facility was visited by Vnesheconombank's Chairman Sergey Gorkov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Alexander Khloponin and Governor of Krasnoyarsk Territory Viktor Tolokonskiy who had an opportunity to see how end products are made.

The complex has an annual capacity of 800,000 m3 which allows to produce 400,000-440,000 m3 end products (sawn wood) per year. The products are mainly oriented to markets in South Asia as well as in Russia and Europe.

The full design capacity is to be reached in 2017. It is also planned to construct pellet manufacturing facilities for the utilisation of wood process wastes.

The project operator is JSC Kraslesinvest, a (100%) subsidiary of Vnesheconombank.
