Results of VEB delegation’s participation in the aviation-space salon MAKS-2015

In the courseof the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2015institutions, comprising Vnesheconombank Group entered into the following agreements:

• Vnesheconombank and OJSC the United Rocket and Space Corporation (URSC) entered into an Agreement on Cooperation. The parties agreed toenhance long-term, efficient and mutually beneficial cooperation in implementing projects and programs in the rocket and space sector aimed at upgrading and enhancing the Russian rocket and space complex.The Agreement’s implementation would boost exports of Russian high technology products and services and contribute to import substitution and to enhancing cooperation ties between participants in the space activity.
• Vnesheconombank and OJSC Ilyushin Finance Co. (OJSC IFC) signed a Memorandum on Cooperation.In accordance with the Memorandum, the parties areexploring the possibility of organizing a project to supply Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft made by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (JSC) to the European market with the use of a credit-leasing scheme.The fact that Vnesheconombank signed the Memorandum on Cooperation plays a key role in forming an integrated system of funding international supplies of Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft and contributes to promoting exports of Russian high-technology industrial products and services to European countries
• Vnesheconombank, the United Aviation Corporation, JSC the Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and SuperJet International S.p.A. entered into a Memorandum on Cooperation. The parties are to be responsible for organizing funding of a project to supply ten Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft made by JSC Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company to one of Mexico’s largest airlines – Interjet (ABC Aerolineas SA de C.V) with the use of a credit-leasing scheme.The implementation of the Memorandum on organizing funding the supplies of ten additional aircraft to Mexico is instrumental in promoting products of the Russian aviation industry in the Latin American market and it will also create prospects for enhancing partnership between Russian exporters and international importers of Russian-made aircraft.
• Vnesheconombank and the United Engine Corporation Corporation signed a credit agreement on extending funding for implementing UEC projects planned in the Federal Target Program “Development of the Russian Defense-Industrial Complex for 2011-2020”.Credit facilities worth 842 million rublesare intended for implementing two projects: reconstruction and technical retooling of OJSC Kuznetsov’s testing stand (the city of Samara) where engines for the upgraded Tu-160 bomber are to be tested and the Ufa Engine Industrial Association’s (the UMPO) production base (the city of Ufa) for manufacturing componentsand accessories of VK-2500 helicopter engines. VEB is to provide the enterprises with 397.7 million rubles and 443.3 million rubles respectively.
• Vnesheconombank and JSC Kronstadt signed an agreement on cooperation.The cooperation is expected to result in research and development work on creating innovative solutions, which will form the basis for developing and manufacturing high technology products in the unmanned aircraft complexes sector.
• Roseximbank (VEB Group) and the Ilyushin Finance Company signed an agreement on organizing funding for supplies of aircraft to the Republic of Cuba. The transaction’s total sum is 70 million US dollars. The total amount of support by Roseximbank for the Ilyushin Finance Company’sexport contracts over the past ten years exceeded 550 million US dollars and the sum of guarantees extended by the state was 600 million US dollars.
• The Federal Project Finance Center (FPFC, Vnesheconombank Group), the Government of the Irkutsk region, the United Aviation Corporation, the Irkut Research and Production Corporation signed an agreement on cooperation on the comprehensive management of the mechanical engineering cluster in the Irkutsk region. To prepare a project on the creation of an industrial park, which will join the mechanical engineering cluster in the Irkutsk region, the participants intend to set up a special engineering company in the form of economic partnership – “The Irkut Industrial Park”. The parties also planto attain the state’ssupport and raise non-budgetary funding for creating the park’sinfrastructure component. The Industrial Park is to become a modern industrialestate for locating small and medium-sized enterprises involved in manufacturingcomponent parts for the Irkut Corporation and other leading Russian companies in mechanical engineering and aviation industry.
