VEB and Ilyushin Finance Co. plan to fund supplies of Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft to the European market

In the course of the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS 2015), Vnesheconombank and OJSC Ilyushin Finance Co. (OJSC IFC) signed a Memorandum on Cooperation.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Memorandum was signed by First Deputy Chairman – Member of the Board Petr Fradkov and on behalf of OJSC IFC – by its Director General Alexandr Rubtsov.

In accordance with the Memorandum, the parties are to explore the possibility of organizing a project to supply Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft made by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (JSC) to the European market with the use of a credit-leasing scheme. The fact that Vnesheconombank signed the Memorandum on Cooperation plays a key role in forming an integrated system of funding international supplies of Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft and contributes to promoting exports of Russian high-technology industrial products and services to European countries.
