Vnesheconombank and the Ivanovo Region Intend to Cooperate in the Investment Activity

In the course of the 12^th International Investment Forum Sochi-2013 State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and the Government of the Ivanovo region entered into an Agreement on Cooperation.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and on behalf of the Government of the Ivanovo region – by the region’s Governor Mikhail Men.

The parties intend to cooperate in raising funds to finance investment projects among other things those in the textile industry scheduled to be implemented on the Ivanovo region’s territory including projects to be implemented on the terms of public private partnership as well as to work out schemes for their implementation, cooperate in preparing project evaluations and enhance the development of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Agreement’s implementation would help to stimulate investment activity, address top-priority objectives of the region’s socio-economic development and enhance its economic and industrial potential.
