Vnesheconombank, the Moscow Region Government, Rostechnologies and the Russian Venture Company (RVC) Plan to Create the Ramenskoye Technopark

In the course of the International Aerospace Salon (MAKS-2013) and in the presence of Russian Prime Minster Dmitry Medvedev State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’, the Moscow Region Government, State Corporation Rostechnologies, the Russian Venture Company (RVC) (OJSC) entered into an agreement on cooperation in implementing a project on the creation of the Ramenskoye Technopark.

The project provides for building a technopark on the territory of the Ramenskoye district in the Moscow region. The intrasectoral Engineering Center of Precision Instrument –Making and In-Built Intelligent Systems is to become a basis and a system-forming element of the technopark. The technopark’s main objectives are :

  • to create opportunities for launching joint investment projects including opportunities for easier access by technopark’s residents to financial resources as well as wider access to innovations and new technological solutions;
  • to reduce transaction costs thus forming pre-conditions for implementing joint cooperation projects and productive competition;
  • to engage international high-technology companies as residents, investors and the technopark’s co founders for the technopark, given mandatory production localization;
  • to improve foreign economic integration and make technopark’s residents more competitive by way of including the technopark and its residents in the global chains of creating added value.

The agreement’s implementation would help to manufacture competitive high-technology products needed by Russia’s key production companies, improve the technopark residents’ activity and create a synergetic effect inside the technopark, develop new technologies in precision instrument-making and in-built intelligent systems.
