Vnesheconombank to Cooperate with the Yaroslavl Region in Upgrading Public Private Partnership Mechanisms

In the course of the 16th Petersburg International Economic Forum State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and the Yaroslavl region Government entered into an Agreement on Cooperation.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and on behalf of the Yaroslavl region Government by Governor Sergei Yastrebov.

The Agreement provides for promoting long-term and effective cooperation in order to encourage the Yaroslavl region’s sustainable development.

The parties intend to cooperate in searching for new schemes for preparing, implementing and funding investment projects with the use of public private partnership mechanisms on the region’s territory.

Under the Agreement the Yaroslavl region Government is to make a list of investment projects to explore the possibility for Vnesheconombank’s participation in developing them on the principles of public private partnership.

This project’s implementation will help to encourage investment activity and address top priority objectives of the region’s socio-economic development.
