Vnesheconombank and the Tula Region Government Sign Agreement on Cooperation

State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and the Tula region Government entered into an Agreement on Cooperation in implementing the region’s investment projects.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and on behalf of the Tula region – by Governor Vladimir Gruzdev.

This Agreement aims to establish strategic partnership and promote long-term and effective cooperation between the parties in implementing investment projects.

The parties intend to cooperate in making arrangements to fund investment projects to be implemented among other things on the basis of public private partnership as well as develop schemes for their financing, cooperate on preparing expert conclusions on agreements and participate in providing financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises. The parties give top priority to projects aimed at developing transport, engineering and social infrastructure of the Tula region and at territories comprehensive development. This Agreement’s implementation will help to address top-priority objectives of the region’s socio-economic development as well as enhance its economic and industrial potential.
