Vnesheconombank Intends to Participate in Implementing Projects on the Construction and Reconstruction of OJSC FGC UES Power Facilities

In the course of the 16^th Petersburg International Economic Forum State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and OJSC FGC UES entered into a Memorandum on Cooperation in implementing projects on the construction and reconstruction of power facilities of the Unified National Energy Network.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Memorandum was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and on behalf of OJSC FGC UES – by its Board Director Oleg Budargin.

Under the Memorandum the parties intend to enhance all-round cooperation and explore the possibility of their joint participation in implementing projects on the construction and reconstruction of power facilities to connect them to electric power networks of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean oil pipeline (ESPO-2) facilities and on the construction of power facilities to enable the Boguchan electric power plant to generate power.

As part of implementing projects on the construction and reconstruction of power facilities to connect them to electric power networks of the Easter-Pacific Ocean oil pipe line facilities and on the construction of power facilities to enable the Boguchan electric power plant to generate power there are plans to build 925 kilometers of power transmission lines and 4 substations with a total capacity of 4 megavolt ampere. The project’s total value is to amount to about 20 billion rubles.
