Vnesheconombank to Participate in Developing a Project on Creating Centers for Training and Retraining Highly Skilled Specialists in the Rostov Region

In the course of the 16^th Petersburg International Economic Forum State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’, the Rostov region Government and the Fund for the Promotion of International Ties and Cooperation “Dobrososedstvo” (Good Neighborhood) signed a Memorandum on Cooperation.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Memorandum was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev, on behalf of the Rostov region Government – by Governor Vasily Golubev and on behalf of the Fund – by its Director General Evgeny Bykov.

Under the Memorandum the parties intend to cooperate in developing an investment project on creating centers for training and retraining highly skilled blue collar personnel for industrial and municipal services sectors with the use of public private partnership mechanisms on the territory of the Rostov region.

This project’s implementation would help to develop research, technical and innovation activity on the region’s territory and would make it possible to address employment and job placement issues in the Rostov region.

The Fund for the Promotion of International Ties and Cooperation “Dobrososedstvo” (Good Neighborhood) was registered in December of 2008. The Fund is a nonprofit nongovernmental organization. The Fund was set up to accomplish social, charitable, cultural, educational, research, managerial and other socially valuable objectives.
