Vnesheconombank and the Pskov Region Administration Agree to Cooperate in Investment Projects to Be Implemented on the Region’s Territory

In the course of the 16^th Petersburg International Economic Forum State Corporation ‘Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank)’ and the Pskov region Administration entered into an Agreement on Cooperation.

On behalf of Vnesheconombank the Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and behalf of the Pskov region Administration by Governor Andrei Turchak.

This Agreement aims to establish strategic partnership and enhance long-term and effective cooperation in implementing investment projects.

The parties intend to cooperate in making arrangements for funding investment projects to be implemented among other things on the principles of public private partnership, work out schemes for financing them, cooperate in preparing expert opinions on projects and participate in providing support for small and medium-sized enterprises. Top priority is to be given to projects aimed at developing the region’s timber industrial complex, communal services and social sectors.

This project’s implementation would help to address issues of the region’s socio-economic development and strengthen its social, economic and industrial potential.
