On the Start of Accepting V-th and V-II-th tranche MinFin Bonds (OVGVZs) to Make Regular Coupon Payments

In accordance with the terms of issuing MinFin bonds (OVGVZs) approved by Resolutions of the Russian Government of March 15, 1993 N 222 and of March 4, 1996 N 229, the date for making coupon payments on V-th and VII-th tranche MinFin (OVGVZs) comes due on May 14, 2007.

Vnesheconombank acting as a paying agent for the Finance ministry of the Russian federation with respect to the said bonds starts to accept V-th and VII-th tranche MinFin bonds (OVGVZs) from bondholders to make regular coupon payments from April 16, 2007. The date of acceptance of bonds to make coupon payments is to end seven days before the date of coupon payments that is ,bonds are to be accepted till May 7, 2007 inclusive. After the said date till the date of coupon payments on bonds Vnesheconombank’s Custody Department terminates all transactions in MinFin bonds (OVGVZs). Vnesheconombank will resume accepting bonds to make coupon payments on May 16, 2007.
