Vnesheconombank Signs Agreement with Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography

Today, on April 12, Vnesheconombank signed Agreement on Cooperation with the Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography (Roskultura).

The Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and by Roskultura Head Mikhail Shvydkoy.

The Agreement aims to support Russian small towns’ culture in order to protect cultural heritage and uphold traditions of multiethnic national culture.

Under the Agreement Vnesheconombank is determined to provide funds worth 20 million rubles annually to render gratuitous assistance to support cultural and art organizations and facilities of Russia’s small towns.

The program of supporting cultural heritage of Russia’s small towns is fully in line with the future Development Bank’s charitable activity. The Bank is being established on the basis of Vnesheconombank. The Bank’s participation in financing the Program is seen as national culture promotion and as investment contributing to improving spiritual and cultural life of Russian people.
