Today, on June 9, in the course of the 11th Petersburg International Economic Forum the Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank) signed an Agreement on Cooperation with the Voronezh Region Administration.
The Agreement was signed by Acting Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and Voronezh Region Governor Vladimir Kulakov.
Under the Agreement the Bank and the region are determined to promote strategic partnership and effective long-term cooperation. The Agreement provides for the Bank and regional authorities to join forces to promote the socio-economic development of the region and enhance the region’s economic and industrial potential.
Now, Vnesheconombank is considering the project aimed at constructing a bio-diesel production plant in the Voronezh region. The project is being carried out by Antoil-M. The amount to finance the plant is 30 million US dollars.
Later on, the Bank will explore the possibilities of participating in implementing major investment projects on the territory of the Voronezh region. They include the construction of a refinery with a capacity to refine 5.1 million tons of crude oil and with the financing amount of 7.5 billion rubles, the development of the Kazinsk granite deposit with an annual output of 700 thousand cubic meters and financing amount of 270 million rubles, VASO’s technical re-equipment providing for automating aircraft –building manufacturing with the financing amount of 4 billion rubles, establishing a multifunctional agroholding, constructing a Voronezh transport hub with the financing amount of 21.3 billion rubles including the reconstruction of the Chertovitskoe International Airport, building a circular highway outside Voronezh, the construction of a logistics complex, building an international business center and exhibition complex.
