Today, on June 10, in the course of the 11th Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Bank for Development and Foreign Economic Affairs (Vnesheconombank) and the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria signed an Agreement on Cooperation.
The Agreement was signed by Acting Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and the President of Kabardino-Bulkaria, Arsen Kanokov.
The Agreement provides for promoting long-term partner relations in developing infrastructure, innovations, and creating production facilities to manufacture competitive products including export-substituting ones in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria.
The Agreement determined main lines of cooperation in implementing investment and major infrastructure projects in the Republic’s top-priority industries such as spas and tourism, agricultural farming and processing of agricultural produce, housing construction, pharmaceutics, building materials industry, creating modern airport infrastructure. The building of the airport in the city of Nalchik is a project of strategic importance both for the Republic of Kabardino-Bulkaria and for the South Federal Distrait as a whole.
To implement specific lines of cooperation the two sides are going to enter into separate agreements, draw up lists of top-priority projects to be carried out on the territory of the Republic and form working groups to examine and implement projects.
