Today, on October 21, Vnesheconombank signed an Agreement on Cooperation with the Federal Agency for Industry (Rosprom).
The Agreement was signed by Vnesheconombank Chairman Vladimir Dmitriev and Rosprom Head Boris Aleshin.
The Agreement aims to establish strategic partnership and promote long-term, effective and mutually beneficial cooperation.
The Agreement provides for cooperating and making joint efforts designed to prepare schemes for attracting funds to finance projects in such sectors as radio-electronic industry, civil aviation, shipbuilding and timber industry.
In order to support the domestic radio-electronic industry, the Bank and the Agency are determined to participate in financing companies included in the Federal Target Program “National Technological Base.” The Program would make it possible to meet the needs of weapons and military hardware manufacturers in the domestic element base and reduce by 50% the use of imported components in manufacturing computers and medical equipment thus helping to carry out national projects in public healthcare and education.
